Pastry Sous Chef

We are looking for a Baking & Pastry Professional who has a passion for scratch made food. In this role, you will work with our Head Pastry Chef to develop and produce high quality pastries, desserts, cakes and breads. Creativity, attention to detail, communication and problem solving skills are important to our team. We're looking for someone who has good time management skills and can work well solo and as part of a group.

Key Responsibilities

Recipe/formula reading and weighing/scaling recipes properly
Preparing, baking, cutting, assembling and finishing products
Packaging items for off-site events
Maintaining cleanliness standards and safe food handling practices
Some shifts may include supporting the overall kitchen team and may be off-site
Qualifications

Experience in a commercial bakery or professional kitchen required
Proven track record of consistent results
Reliable transportation is a must
Schedule will consist of mostly weekday production and will include some weekend shifts
Part Time or Full Time position for the right candidate.

Our typical workweek includes shifts between Tue-Sat. Strong preference will be given to candidates with weekend availability. Wage based on both experience and schedule flexbility.
